We were choosing between two packaging suppliers for export cartons. Redwood Way visited one factory, checked ISO paperwork, and flagged a capacity gap during peak season. Their memo gave our board a reason to pause — we avoided a rush-order penalty later.

The RFQ they wrote for our office renovation got three comparable bids within two weeks. I still wish they had included a Mandarin summary for our site foreman, but the English version kept our landlord aligned.

From the field notes
When owners ask what to collect before comparing bids, we start with five items that reveal more than a glossy brochure.
Confirm the legal name matches the quote header and note registration date. Newly formed entities are not automatically risky, but capacity claims need extra verification.
For domestic suppliers, a recent tax compliance letter reduces surprises during your accounts payable setup. Importers may also provide customs broker references.
The lowest bid is easy to spot. The bid that keeps production running is harder.
Before opening spreadsheets, write down what failure looks like: a line stoppage, a missed export date, or a clinic without supplies. Those outcomes get weight in scoring, not just TWD figures.
Convert quotes to the same unit — per piece, per month, or total project. Include freight, tooling deposits, and expected change-order patterns if history exists.
Tell us what you are buying and your timeline. We respond within two business days with scope options and a fee estimate.
